VIPA Body Protectors are designed by former Champion Jockey Greg Childs. 

Before Greg retired in 2008 he listened to feedback from fellow riders and his children about other body protectors being too bulky, too hard and too stiff. In 2005 after much research and many prototypes Greg designed VIPA Body Protectors incorporating his 40 years of horse experience, working and race riding, coupled with a few race falls along the way he knew exactly what was needed for protection.
